Ally Caple is a photographer working and living in New York. Her work revolves around multiple forms of care as labor, Blackness, and her inherent proximity to whiteness. A graduate of SUNY Purchase College, the Education Practicum at the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Caple is featured in the Gnomic Book publication Primal Sight (2021) and an upcoming resident at ChaNorth. She is a part of the artist-run independent initiative New Poetics of Labor, is an active member of the Skowhegan Alliance, and the layout designer for Photography Greenbook.
