Dylan Reitz is a Dominican American artist who lives and works in New York City. Existing in the liminal space between film and sculpture, Reitz’s work explores how the natural texture and movement of physical objects can be translated to a digital space. Manipulating handmade paper pulp composed of recycled sketches and letters, Reitz creates scapes of implied movement, augmented and reiterated by the perpetually looped motion of his correlating animations. Reitz received his BFA from New York University, where he is currently pursuing an MS in Integrated Digital Media.
