
NY-based artist who explores the visual power, social resonance and cultural uses of blood in a variety of mediums that include painting, sculpture, installation, photography and public programming. By using animal blood from slaughterhouses, his artwork address themes of corporeality, spirituality, and regeneration. Most recently, he has had solo shows at the Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, and the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art in NY.
