
Joyce McDonald is multidisciplinary artist, focusing on sculpture and painting. Her creativity captures the range of emotions she's experienced throughout her spirited life. Previous exhibitions include shows at the Museum of the City of New York; La Mama Galleria, NY; the Bureau of General Services–Queer Division, NY; the Puffin Foundation Gallery, NJ; and the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, New York. As a tireless activist, Joyce has been a steadfast presence at Visual AIDS for over twenty years.
