Greenhouse Auctions is proud to collaborate with Cereus Art in ‘We Are Cereus’, an auction devoted to 19 artists who are members of this new platform. Cereus Art’s mission is to empower independent and emerging artists to realize success and longevity in their careers. Acting as a hybrid organization, Cereus Art provides critical business education and mentorship opportunities largely missing from academic programs; reimagines a marketplace with artists’ complete autonomy; offers a greatly reduced commission structure, and is a community of young talented creatives who provide mutual support and together question the traditional structure of gallery representation for emerging artists.

Like Greenhouse, Cereus Art aims to promote diversity and make space for underrepresented artists to build a long, sustainable runway. The twenty works of art in ‘We Are Cereus’ are all created in the past two years, adding excitement to this occasion. Collectors have an opportunity to discover, support and connect with some of the most prominent leading voices of their generation, thus joining Greenhouse and Cereus Art in building a more transparent, collaborative art community.
