Well, there's this DaVinci drawing I always remember - a soldier shouting to his army, to ready for battle (The Battle of Anghiari). It just feels like a big giant exclamation point to me. I wanted to do my own painting like it, but with a woman instead. I used bright, positive colors, because I was thinking of the amazing impact the Wonder Woman movie made on me. Women - fierce, vibrant, and powerful. Ready to take over where men had failed, or simply screwed up (ha).
